Bursting at the Seams Boiling Point of Dreams
27.04. - 08.06.2013
Opening: 26.04.2013, 6-9 pm

A chrome-plated cannon ball landed wrapped in brown paper; Die falschen Bedürfnisse scribbled on it in ballpoint pen in an unknown hand. We lay for a while contemplating the glorious hole in the window that needed fixing. Writhing forms from our hypnagogic state were summoned to the task which they set about according to their notions of work and play, happiness and misery. We watched them stretch the brown paper across the jagged gap till it tore and an army of philosophers measured and mused the wax scraps into oblivion. These were all snuffed out by the arrival of a ladder and a Hausmeister’s head above the sill. “Kommt Ihr mit?” he fraged taking no notice of our nakedness and the fact that at noon we were still in bed. Wir could nicht resist his putty hands as through the hole we climbed dragging pictures, films and drawings behind us. All was packed inside our work horse ‘Coffin’ and climbing on top, we cracked whips and jokes, struck heroic poses and galloped off… leaving the janitor to repair all at his leisure.
